The Thackray Museum, housed in a beautifully restored Victorian Grade 2 listed building, is the perfect venue for your conference or event. With its dramatic entrance hall and sweeping staircase it’s sure to make a lasting impression on your guests.
Inside the Museum you can choose from 6 adaptable conference rooms that meet a wide range of needs. From a boardroom for 12, to an auditorium with state of the art presentation facilities and seating for 140, our conference suite suits all types of event. All of our rooms benefit from natural daylight that adds to the pleasant, welcoming atmosphere.
If your event is held during the day, your guests receive free access to the Museum itself. This is a great way to spend a lunch break and we’re sure everyone will take advantage of the opportunity to see our exhibitions.
We have extensive catering facilities so lunch can be served as a hot or cold buffet, sit-down meal or silver-service dinner. Our skilled catering department will create a menu to suit your occasion and budget.
