Fun for School Holidays
Fun activities for families take place at the Thackray Museum during most school holidays. They’re open to all children accompanied by an adult and are often free after Museum admission. You can see the next holiday activity sessions here.

'Tuesday Science Club'
Every Tuesday - 27th July & 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th August 2010.
Did you know that the first X-Ray photograph of DNA was made by William Astbury who lived in Leeds. Join our five week science club and take part in some wacky workshops for ages 7 to 11.

Fearsome Florence

Florence Nightingale passed away one hundred years ago. Come and find out how this remarkable women changed the history of medicine and war.
Enjoy a range of activities - there might even be something to take home at the end of the day.

Twitchy Witchy
23rd & 24th - 26th, 27th & 28th October 2010.
Come and do some Halloween witch activities based around the Yorkshire Witch, Mary Bateman.
