It's our 15th birthday so we're giving every 15th member of a group free admission on top of existing group discounts. We do themed guided tours and afternoon tea packages in our ornate Cafe, for a small charge. Coach drivers also get in free and our tickets last all year, it would be senseless to miss out. Children's Birthday Parties
Celebrate your birthday with a party at the museum. Suitable for ages 7-14. Available 10am-12pm or 1.30pm-3.30pm at weekends and during school holidays. All packages include a party coordinator. Choose from one of these fun filled options:
Gold celebration - £15 per child. Includes party space, choice of themed activity, party games and wound make up
Silver celebration - £12.95 per child. Includes a dedicated party space with a choice of activity
Bronze celebration - £10 per child. Perfect for exploring the museum with a dedicated party/lunch space

Ghost Experiences
Come and join us on a paranormal experience that will chill you to your bones! The Thackray Museum offers bespoke packages to suit all in the eerie surrounds of our 150 year old building. The corridors are full of things that go bump in the night so join us if you dare!
Prices start from £17.99 and minimum group size is 10 people. Your package can include options such as:
- Be led around the museum in candlelight by our workhouse Ma'am, telling stories of sightings from past and present
- A medium session to sense paranormal presence in the building
