As part of the Heritage Open Days weekend the Thackray Museum has organised an external walking tour of the St. James's Hospital site, including the history of the Workhouse which is now the Thackray Museum. The tour also includes the interior of the Chapel.

There is no charge for the tour but places are limited and so booking is essential - please call 0113 244 4343 to book a place.

Please note that this is an external tour and does not include entry to the museum. Entry to the museum is not necessary for the tour. As this is a walking tour please be advised that it may cover uneven ground and so may not be suitable for people with access issues. Please call the museum to speak to a staff member for more information.
