Medicine at the Movies

"Medicine at the Movies" Project; November 09 - March 10.

Thackray's exciting new project with the deaf and hard of hearing community is now well under way! The project invites participants to explore our museum, learn film making skills, and to make a film about whatever inspires them in our collections. Films will be screened at our special premieres night in March.

So far, the group has explored the Museum with a highlights tour, met our curator, and handled objects in a 'behind the scenes' investigation of our collections. Ideas are already forming for the films...watch this space for further updates!
