New temporary exhibitions gallery gets underway!

Work has started on a new temporary exhibitions gallery in the Thackray Museum. This new gallery will provide a platform for exciting displays relating to the history of medicine. The first exhibition, due in early spring 2012, will be ‘Thackray Remembered’ and will tell the story of the Thackray company through the people who have worked for the company.
In order to refit the new gallery we have closed the ‘Body Parts’ exhibition. This exhibition ran for over 6 years and we would like to thank everyone who helped to make it such a success.
