Birthday Party: 24th and 25th March - It's our birthday! The Thackray Museum is 15 years old and we want everyone to celebrate with us! Great for families.

Fright at the Medical Museum: 18th May* - Are you brave enough to walk the haunted workhouse after dark? Scream your way through this special evening event and you might make it to the bar afterwards....Over 18s only, booking essential.

Night at the Medical Museum: 19th May* - Come and meet some of the creepy and colourful characters that lurk in the medical museum after dark! Explore the old Leeds workhouse and see if there are any echoes of the past still lurking around the corner.....Great for families, booking essential.

Murder at the Workhouse: 22nd September* - Thackray Museum will be hosting its very own Murder Mystery Night!  Why not come down to the museum and see if you can solve our fearsome mystery! Booking essential.

World Medicine Fair: 24th November - Come along to our Open Health day to find out about medicine around the world!

Did you know.......the museum has FREE family activities?

Activities take place 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm every Saturday during term time. There are also activities Monday-Friday, 1pm-4pm during school holidays. Don't forget that museum tickets last for 12 months, so you can come back as often as you like! Every month is different theme, so why not see how many different family activities you can try?

The museum runs a series of Medicine and History lectures on a Saturday every year from October to March. The lectures are suitable for those with little or no knowledge of the subject.
